Most of the first Two Seasons were found at the back of a vault at BBC Enterprises awaiting destruction.
1978
The Web of Fear 1 was returned by an overseas TV Company.
1982
The Abominable Snowmen 2 was returned by a film collector.
The Reign of Terror 6 was returned by a film collector.
1983
A black and white telerecording of Invasion of the Dinosaurs 1 was returned by a film collector.
1983
The Daleks' Masterplan 5 & 10 were found in the basement of a derelict church!
1984
The Celestial Toymaker 4 returned by ABC TV in Australia.
The Wheel in Space 3 was returned by a film collector.
The Time Meddler 1-4 and The War Machines 1-4 were returned by a TV Company in Nigeria.
The Reign of Terror 1-3 was returned by Cyrpus TV (they did hold the remaining two episodes of the tale, but the building in which they were stored was destroyed by a Turkish rocket attack in the seventies).
1987
The Faceless Ones 3 and The Evil of the Daleks 2. Returned by a film collector who had previously tried to sell tickets for a screening of the episodes at a Dr Who Convention.
1988
The Ice Warriors 1, 4-6 were found behind a filing cabinet at the BBC, along with a film can claiming to contain an episode of Fury From the Deep which in fact contained something completely different.
1992
Tomb of the Cybermen 1-4 returned from Asia TV in Hong Kong, who, in the early Eighties said that they had no Doctor Who in their archives...
1999
The Crusade 1 returned by a film collector from New Zealand
